After graduating from Kingwood High School, I received my bachelor's degree from Brigham Young University and my dental degree from the University of Louisville. After dental school, I served in the U.S. Navy, completing a General Practice Residency at Naval Hospital Camp Pendleton, California. I then practiced general dentistry at Marine Corps Base Camp Lejeune, North Carolina, and led a team on a peacekeeping mission to Haiti.  After my military service, I pursued advanced endodontic training at the University of Southern California, receiving a certificate of endodontics.

My wife and I are the proud parents of four children. My hobbies include: spending time with my family, traveling, exercising, reading, and doing volunteer work with my church.
